This movie is at least a 9. Almost everyone loves this movie. Its one of the best kids movies ever. Everyone has had an experience like The Sandlot. Whether it be playing wall ball at recess, or a pickup football game. This movie just intensified that moment.

I would also rate it a 9 or 10, so would most people in our generation, but the average will never get up there, one 1 requires 9 10's to balance it out, and there are plenty of kids on here who give every movie they ever click on a 1 just for the heck of it.

I think it's fair rating. Many kid/family movies deserves higher ratings. For example, Free Willy (1993). Only 6.0 rating and I think it's equally good movie as The Sandlot.

I give "The Sandlot" a 9/10, it's a great movie, I enjoyed the chemistry the boys had together, I do feel the portion where they were trying to retrieve the ball went on a little too long but the rest of the film was great.
