Henry would be a 24 yr old 12 year veteren by now

could you imagine the career stats this kid could rack up? at 24 im guessing his stats would look like this.
wins 180
loss 100
so 2200
era 3.05
cy youngs 4
roy 1
all star 8
ip 2247
gg 5

he'd probably pitch another 16 yrs, add that to those stats.

too bad its just a movie

Well in real life he'd probably have barely any of those stats. Very rarely have players 18 and under came to the majors and stayed there until the end of their careers. And this kid was 12 in the movie. But yeah, had he pitched every year since then he'd probably have close to those numbers.

That'd be the only way these days to make a run at Cy Young's 511 wins, or Nolan Ryan's 5,714 strikeouts. It'd still almost be impossible. He'd have to play in the minors for a long time until about age 17-18 before reaching the majors anyway.

This is my signature, nice eh?

actually Henry was a one pitch pitcher he would have remained a closer his entire career, so he would not come close to 100 wins or 3,000 strike outs, but he might set the record for saves.

And now he’d be pushing 41 and likely retired and gone
