two mistakes

I saw this movie in the theater when it came out and then never watched it again until tonight. Now when I first saw it waaaaay back in '93 I couldn't believe he said it was a full count and threw the sock or whatever in there and said strike one. I know everyone knows about this but I just wanted to say when I saw it in the theater I looked at my friend and was like "Strike one? What the hell?"
Now the other thing I MIGHT have noticed tonight. Maybe. This is picky but in that last game of the movie, the pitcher was pitching from the stretch. That's the right handed pitcher (Gary Busey) and looked into the dugout at the coach. If you are pitching from the stretch and are right handed, the dugout you are facing is the third base dugout. That is the visiting team's dugout.
Could someone varify this for me? Maybe he turned his head and looked into the other one. Picky I know but I'm a baseball fan so it is valid.

At Wrigley Field the 3rd base dugout is the Cubs' dugout.

Thank You Ric! Richard Morgan Fliehr, THE best EVER! WOOOOOOOOOOOO

It's a movie about a kid who breaks his arm and gains a 100+ mile an hour fastball, subsequently joining a major league baseball team, and your issue is the location of the dugout? :P

I'm a baseball fan so yes. And this movie is horrible. If you want to see a good kid in baseball movie watch Little Big League. It is so much better than you think it would be.

that comment was great, had me laughing for at least a minute. (I also received odd looks, mind you.) But, 100% right.
