What happened to Jack Bradfield after Henry's mother told him that she never wanted to see him near her and her son again and that she punches him out of the house?

Yea, I'm check-out supervisor and Jack has asked me out many times for coffee, dinner and even drinks. I turn him down eachtime. He seems a bit odd. Especially when he stares at me while he sweeps.

It's all about the corned beef sandwiches and pineapple juice

Now that is funny, does he clean the toilets too. Figure he is used to taken crap, so he may as well be crap.
stupid was a crime most would get double life and the electric chair

I guess he just faded into oblivion, that's all. It is too bad he turned out to be such a butthead, but I guess that's the way these boyfriends are.

It doesn't matter because once the scene is resolved, he's no longer essential to the plot of the movie, so his character ceases to matter.

That's what they tell us in Cinema. Once you have a scene like that, there is no longer a need for the character in the film.

He is erased from existence, in the world of the movie....

In reality? He probably went on a month long alcohol and coke bender and wound up dead in a dumpster somewhere...

Mr. White: A few cops.
Mr. Pink: No real people?

Interesting note on the use of janitor in this post. The 1B for the Chicago Cubs in the movie plays "Janitor" on Scrubs.

Well, obviously there was no more use for him in the film so he just went away.

He went on to be one of the greatest sports agent in history...He "brought Reebok", he "brought Pepsi" to all of his clients.

Kidding aside, the movie really messed up his character. When the film started, he was a pretty nice guy who was nice to both the mother and Henry out of genuine sincerity....Other than needing to get him out of the way so Chet could "bring the stinky cheddar" to Mary, there was no need to completely change his character.
