I always believed he deserved it. He accepted the promotion and took on that huge case knowing he wasn't healthy enough to see it through.

I don't know if you're trolling but you have to keep in mind that during the period in which the movie is set there was very little known about AIDS. I can't find the source right now but I read that on average it takes ten years for HIV to turn into AIDS, that's on average. He had no idea he wasn't healthy enough to see the account through.

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time Del Boy, it's them that started me drinking!
