Ed dressed in some ridiculous short-pants outfit telling his wife he doesn't forgive her and going back to continue some equally ridiculous dance.
Not working hard to be disrespectful to Irish Americans (not giving a *beep* if I am either) but this is one of the funniest scenes I've ever watched in a bad film. And I've seen my share of them.
I didn't see anything ridiculous about Ed's pants, nor the dance. I loved how they ended the film, showing Ed letting go of his depression & having fun by dancing with his good-natured kids.
But the best part was watching that bitch Laurie get to see what she lost: She had a wonderful family & she blew it.
I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus. Didn't he discover America? Penfold, shush.

Which is pretty much what the whole film is supposed to highlight, ie the consequences of domestic abuse and how it's just as bad when women are the abusers as men. Same story all around, really. Only difference is that fewer men come forward about it and even some of the strongest, "REAL men" types can become victims.

Of course, we all agree on that. She deserves to be on her own etc. But the scene of Peter Strauss jumping around like a monkey dressed as a schoolboy after telling her he doesn't want anything with her is simply stupid and it deserves to be said.
