She was an extra and appeared at the end of the movie. Its been a while but I just remember that there were a lot of people dressed in robes or graduation gowns and they were standing and singing and i think clapping. My teacher was a short, round, curly haired lady.

sharethat's cool. it's funny how it's like all this film has to offer is people from oakland or berkeley watching the background the whole movie to see filming locations they've been to or to see if they spot anyone they know in the background. it was filmed one block over from me in the middle of lawton but i never got to see nia long...super weak lol. my friend did tho we were like 9 at the time and i always saw them filming but missed seeing her and will smith. glad i didn't see whoopi tho that would've scarred me lol. i saw ted danson but wow big whoop lol and let us always remember that pic. of him in black face haha that was sad but i'm sure he's a good guy. anyway overall the film is weak but it has it's moments i guess and check out the paint job on oakland tech looking really good! i hate the way it looks now, it did need a paint job but now it looks kinda lifeless. it was def. on hit when this was filmed. i wish they would've shown across the street from whoopi's shop then we could've seen a shot of gordo's berkeley taqueria back in the day. hands down the best spots for burritos in the bay area if you've been to one then u know lol.
