Ok Will Smith is great in general but had like a dozen lines in this movie. So how did he get higher billing than Nia Long who was like the focus of the entire movie? I love Will Smith but he wasn't all that famous yet just weird.

Even though he had a smaller part, at the time, Will was still more well known than Nia and that's why he got better billing. He had just started on FRESH PRINCE OF BEL-AIR at the time this movie was made.

He already had made a name for himself in the music industry, prior to taking on the tv show, prior to taking on movie roles. He was pretty well known by the time this movie was made in 1993, thus giving him better billing.
Nia Long had only had a few minor tv roles, and one minor movie role in Boyz in the Hood at the time.
