What young kid at his age would watch Amadeus???

The scene that always bugged me was when Danny knows that Practice shouldn't be trusted because, "He killed Mozart," and explains to Slater that the actor was from Amadeus and the film won 8 Oscars.

Why would a kid at his age even watch Amadeus?!?! We're talking about the same kid that watched Hamlet and day-dreamed that Schwarzenegger was in it. Do you really think he would sit through Amadeus in a serious manner?!?!?

I shouldn't judge Amadeus. I never saw the movie and probably never will. it's got a score of 8.4 on IMDB so it's a no-brainer it deserves 8 Oscars. But when I was a kid, the movies I concentrated more on were Disney cartoons, action movies, and Sci-Fi and could care less how many awards they won. Amadeus does not land in any of those categories.

"Hail to the King, Baby!"

Saying 'young kind' and then 'at his age' at the same time (shouldn't that be OF his age?) is RIDICULOUSLY redundant.

You don't have to REPEAT the same idea in your question. Have you ever researched what the word 'repetitive' means?

Your writing the same idea over and over creates a feeling of 'enough, already', did you know that?

I am being redundant just to show you how annoying and needless it is. Please rectify.

I was the same age Danny was when I saw the movie and, at that age, could have plausibly rented Amadeus based purely on the VHS box art which I always thought looked intriguing and cool. I'm sure I would have been disappointed by the film actually being about competing composers, but I knew enough about Baroque Era composers at the age of 13 (I remember learning all about them in music class in elementary school when I was 8 or 9) that it could possibly have held my interest enough to sit through the whole film. I was a weird kid though who sat through some pretty slow dramas like FITZCARRALDO from time to time but pretty much only if they were period films.

We watched it and other more serious historical films. In the 80's and 90's, we watched everything we were allowed to rent. Thanks to Guzzie at our local shop, we were able to rent R rated flicks at 10 years old.

Dude wad a 40 year old honeybadger virgin. He gave no F's and our parents didn't either.
