How old where you when you first watched Jurassic Park?

And how do you feel when watching it again?

I was 7.

For me, I still feel that nostalgic wonder when watching Jurassic Park as an adult. At least now, I get to see it without peeking from between my fingers and I finally understand some of the jokes, conversations and plot complexities.

Just thought I'd ask because I just watched Jurassic World and saw a bunch of kids who were my age when I first watched this, and I wondered how they'd feel if they watched JW again in the next decade or so. I'm just a bit disturbed because this one was far more violent than the first movie. Then again, these kids might be more desynthesized to violence than I was back in the day.

About 11 - watched it with my auntie who decided to fast forward every time a dinosaur came on the screen coz she got scared.
Watched it again tonight, probably for the first time all the way through. (20 years later!)

I have been watching this film from the age of 3.
I have probably watched this film more times than anyone ever.
I am 24 and I still watch it once a fortnight.
I own the VHS, DVDs and Blu Rays.
The entire toy collection.
Every game they brought out.

I love the film and it makes me feel happy every time I watch it.
I remember as a kid I would hide behind the couch and be scared to turn the VHS player off.

I was in my early 20's, going to college to study filmmaking. It had a magic to it and I was mesmerized by this film. I owned a VHS copy and then brought DVD and I've must have seen it at least two hundred times, maybe more. Always fascinated by Dinosaurs growing up near NYC and going to American Museum of Natural History at least once a year. My older sister's favorite part was the Hayden Planetarium, mine was the Dinosaurs. 🐲

I was 12, when I first watched it. I love Jurassic Park and I still enjoy it now as much as I did the first time I watched it.

I saw it on premiere day back in 1993. I was 13 years old. Still have the ticket stubb. :)

I was about 11 years old.

I remember watching it twice in the cinema when it came out in 1993 because I liked it so much. I remember covering my eyes a couple of times in the cinema during the T Rex scenes.

When watching it again recently, as you have already said, you pick up a lot more of the plot points, jokes and character interactions, however I don't get the same thrill unfortunately.

This movie is a classic, one of the best of all time.
