How old where you when you first watched Jurassic Park?

And how do you feel when watching it again?

I was 7.

For me, I still feel that nostalgic wonder when watching Jurassic Park as an adult. At least now, I get to see it without peeking from between my fingers and I finally understand some of the jokes, conversations and plot complexities.

Just thought I'd ask because I just watched Jurassic World and saw a bunch of kids who were my age when I first watched this, and I wondered how they'd feel if they watched JW again in the next decade or so. I'm just a bit disturbed because this one was far more violent than the first movie. Then again, these kids might be more desynthesized to violence than I was back in the day.

I have to admit that I saw Jurassic Park for the first time just last night. Although the beginning kind of dragged somewhat for me, it picked up and got more entertaining as the film went along.

I must have been 4 or 5, as I saw The Lost World at the cinemas, which came out when I was 6, and I'd seen Jurassic Park more than once at this point.

I went on opening weekend when I was 13. Old enough to scream "Deus ex machina" at the final scenes, but not so old that the movie didn't fill me with awe in some scenes and horror at others.

Jurassic World is not bad but can't compare to the original.

5, I think. I managed to read the book somewhere between 2012 and 2013 and also watch the movie during this period, felt a-mazing! The movie still touches me in an incredible manner.

5, and I fell in love with films ever since.

Now, whenever I had the chance to view this top notch summer blockbuster, I was reminded, every time, why cinema is worthy of being loved.

I was 8 when I saw it in theatres. Still remember the feeling when I saw that huge Brachiosaurus walking in front of their car, probably the most magical cinematic moment I can remember. It all felt and looked so real.

I was 8. Saw it in the theater 3 times. It was magical. I'll never have a movie experience like that again. Makes me a little sad sometimes knowing that.
