When Nedry slips....

There's a whistle sound like when someone slips in an old cartoon. I hear it everytime I watch the film but for some reason nobody else ever notices it until I tell them. I wonder if the sound guys threw it in there as a joke.

Watching it again I feel I must have heard it, as many times as I've seen it. It probably unconsciously sounded like a sound from the winch squealing.

Same here. The sound is always very obvious to me but whenever I mention it nobody else seems to know what I'm talking about.

Some say it was either his shoes or the steel chord he was holding that made the sound. Either way, it's hilarious.
