Should the hand be removed...digitally?

I recently came across a interesting bit of trivia.

There is a scene in Jurassic Park where you see a crew person's hand fumbling around with one of the animatronic dinosaurs in a doorway.

I have missed it or overlooked it for years. Now that I know about it, I see it every time I watch it.

I know people got tired of George Lucas going in and fiddling with the Star Wars movies digitally.

What do people thing about removing the arm of the crewman digitally.

I am not suggesting we change the movie or add better looking dinosaurs or enhance the environment.

I just would like to see that mistake corrected.

What are people's thoughts on this?

I´m usually against such things, but in one scene from Indiana Jones I think it´s ok.

In "Raiders", when Indy falls in the snake pit and lands right in front of a Python, you can see in the old version that the glass between them is a little bit dirty, and you can see some sort of reflections too. That was removed for the DVD and Blu-ray, and it looks much better, you can´t see the glass at all ... except for the fact that Indy falls against the glass and you can see that his hat is pushed against it, but they didn´t correct that :)

I'd miss it if it wasn't there.

I used to point out the chain coming out from under Pee-Wee's bike and the road signs on a track in Pee-Wee's Big Adventure. They were cropped out on the DVD, and those scenes just aren't the same.

I enjoy a mistake like that in a movie, it reminds you that it is just a movie that has flaws but you can still enjoy.
