T rex river chase was cut for budgetary reasons although it was story boarded but the scene was never shot. This scene was used to some extent in jp3 but was the spino instead of the t rex.

Speilberg did not include the scene of the island getting bombed and dinosaurs getting destroyed because he planned to return to the island in a sequel.

A little OT and I’m not really vouching for it to have been included in the film, but to this day I am still confused by the section where Gennaro is peeking through the little hole with night vision goggles on and seeing the velociraptor nest. Can someone perhaps explain that the layout of that whole thing. I couldn’t map it out in my mind when reading the book and it just confused the hell out of me.

Maybe it might have been cool to see in the film if I could understand what was going on.

The stuff with Muldoon hunting the dinosaurs was pure gold. And they didn't have hardly any of it in the film. I was so disappointed as he was my favourite character in the book. He was more of an afterthought in the movie.
