I'd have said action adventure. The only real graphic scene is Gennaro getting eaten off the porcelain throne. Anything the dinosaurs do to each other is shown on any one of a dozen dinosaur documentaries on Discovery.

I'd really call it a thriller, as opposed to horror. Action, adventure, certainly, and Sci fi, yes. Horror, not so much. It gets intense, but I don't think it's really trying to get a fearful reaction. It wants to put you on the edge of your seat.
shareI'd class it as Sci-Fi/Adventure to be honest. I don't see anything really "Horror" about Jurassic Park because it was simply never marketed as a horror movie.
