Was the little blonde kid playing chess with Waverly a young Rich?

Yea thought so too.. and my sister who also saw the movie pointed it out.. the same guy she married was the same kid who beat her at chess.

I doubt that kid is Rich. That kid was a genius and Rich strikes me as not being very bright.

I thought the same whilst watching, but then realized it couldn't had been him as it would most likely had been mentioned, or a hint of it would had been them playing chess together at one point as adults.
