Hello,

Can this film be comfortably viewed as a "stand alone" movie? Or is seeing "Wings of Desire" beforehand strongly recommended?

From what little I can tell, I might actually prefer this film a bit more. It's just that if the two films are best viewed one after the other, I'll make the effort to track them both down and view them in the "correct" order.

I originally saw this not even realizing it was a sequel, and I loved it.

When I caught the original on accident one night, it threw me for a loop, but helped me understand Far Away, So Close better, but I think either movie can stand on its own just fine.

Just don't *pay* to see City Of Angels if you can help it...it's not horrible, but compared to WOD and FASC, it's very cheap.
