Why does Winifred tell Max that she'll kill Dani?

I don't know if this constitutes as being a plothole, but when Max threatens to smash that green vial, Winnie while holding Dani captive says "You smash it, she dies!" But wouldn't Winnie and her sisters still die either way, so why not try to be more diplomatic with Max? I mean, I thought that the Sandersons needed a child's soul or essence to sustain their lives. Unless it's Winnie's way of saying, I'm taking you down with me.

I also don't understand Winnie's point when she says to Max that she'll kill Dani if he doesn't give her what she wants because wasn't Winnie intending on killing Dani anyway? Wasn't that the whole point of that potion? Otherwise, like I said, Winnie and her sisters are going to die along with Dani.

Act of desperation.
1. If max breaks the bottle, the only action Winifred has is viscous revenge. Murder Dani in front of her brother. Winifred and her sisters go to hell but have the satisfaction of hurting Max.

2. Max is a kid and she may be counting on his emotional immaturity to gain the bottle back. People do stupid things when they're under stress and people they love are in danger. Winifred has co trol of Dany and is using Dani as leverage.

These are unreasonable but not out of character.

I had a big paper due this week, and I realized I needed to find some support. That’s when I came across https://termpaperwriter.org/ . The site was straightforward to use, and I liked that they had all kinds of options for students. They also offer great deals, like discounts for new users, which helped me save some money. In the end, I managed to submit my paper without any worries.
