Has everyone heard about Disney Park's new show to the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party? The Sanderson Sisters are coming back:

The official press release says:

In “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular,” the mischievous Sanderson Sisters from Disney’s “Hocus Pocus” return to the mortal world for one night during the Halloween season. With only a few hours to run amuck, the three sisters decide to use their magic to throw the best, evil Halloween party this side of the graveyard!

With the help of the Disney villains, Winifred, Mary and Sarah gather together sinister shadows, nefarious nightmares and the power of their frightful friends to conjure the ultimate Hocus Pocus Party Potion and cast a spell on everyone in the Magic Kingdom Park. “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” features appearances by Dr. Facilier, Oogie Boogie, Maleficent and other great Disney villains, along with dancers, projections and special effects that combine to make this new show a not-to-be-missed Halloween treat.

It runs from Sept. 15 to Nov. 1

Is anyone going? I'm going to Disney World not long before the Halloween stuff starts, so I'll have to catch it on Youtube.

That was really cool. The three actresses were perfect. Like they just stepped right out of the film. Kind of funny over 20 years later Disney is just now realizing how popular the film is.

As I understand it, this show has become so popular, that with a little work on the storyline, this would be a good basis for the sequel to the original "Hocus Pocus." For not only do we get the Sanderson Sisters back, all of the original actresses expressing some interest in coming back, especially Bette Midler, that in the other villains from the show . . .

Dr. Facilier
Hades
Jafar
Lady Tremayne
Maleficent
Oogie Boogie
The Wicked Queen

. . . we get a film that other people have been demanding, a true theatrical film featuring the Disney villains.

And I like to see the actors and actresses who played the children in the original back, or, as many that want to come back, to play the adults in the sequel.
