binx dying

Every time he supposedly times he died or got hurt I had tears getting ready to pour out of my eyes :( I no its just a movie but still! I love cats and it just hurts me to see them hurt or killed. Anyone else feel the same way?

reply

I love cats too. It hurt that they didn't at least give the cat another life, without the boy's soul.

reply

The Feline contained the boy's soul. Its impossible for the Feline to come back alivs when the boy's soul were released.

How is the ending sad? Zachary Binx was cursed to living as a mouse eating cat along with the daily guilt of not keeping his sister Emily from being killed by the witches. When the Sanderson sister's spell was finally broken, Binx's spirit was freed from living as that flea bag and he got to go to heaven and be with Emily.

The ending gets me everytime

Me, too. Especially since my cat (Gimli) looks pretty similar to Binx.

"Never mind walking a mile in my shoes. Try thinking a day in my head."

reply

Yes, I said, "Poor kitty" when he got run over even though I knew he would reanimate.

I just watched the movie, it was sad when the cat died, and the little girl was devastated. But the heavenly reunion of the Puritan siblings after 300 years was sweet. I am an animal lover as well!
