Kind of strange that...
...Frederic Sykes is Head of Security for such a massive company, and he has a prosthetic arm. Head of Security is disabled ?
Is something missing here, or am I reading too much into this ?

I admit that was an odd choice on the filmmakers. I feel like they just wanted to reveal that the guy who killed Kimble's wife was involved with the company that was distributing the drug that Kimble, Lentz, and Nichols worked on.
shareIt's kind of strange that this would even be a consideration. Why would you think that the head of security for a massive company would be the guy actually standing on duty to provide security himself?
This makes no sense. Head of security would be about experience in providing security and the organizational skills required to build and deploy a security force.
It's not like he'd be standing at a building entrance fighting off bad guys with his prosthetic limb. LOL
Not really, he’s like a general with one arm.
A couple of thoughts..
1) Could it be possible he lost his arm while doing his duty of securing something? Hence, being promoted to the head of security due to bravery and such.
2) How good can he be if he can't even secure the security of his own body, and ends up losing part of it?
That is not strange at all.
He is the HEAD, not the arm of security. See the difference ?
What is strange is that they cannot find a better killer than him.
As we see, he is sloppy and quite easy to identify.
Would’ve been better if he had a fake nose or mustache.
