Well that website is a real downer

reply

that is a crap site... whales are smart.............

reply

if they are so smart why did human totally outsmart Orca in the film Orca

reply

Because it's a movie. Whales, and dolphins, are some of the smartest animals alive.

reply

if they are so smart why are they living in natures toilet?

reply

Same reason E.T. never phoned home until the boogie men were on his ass.

Just because we're smarter than Orca and dolphins when it comes to technology and building pools too small we think we can exploit them to make money. Check out any oceanarium on google earth - a tiny blue dot right next to the ocean. where do you think the orca would rather be? swimming in circles with a bunch of orca thrown together from different areas and dialects, jumping like fools just to be fed, or out with it's family feeding itself - jumping of it's own accord?

I am totally with you. Marine life is some of the most mysterious and beautiful life on this planet. One of my biggest dreams is to actually touch an Orca.

I alreaady replyed in another post about being whale watching with a small group and touching the wild Orca in their natural habitat was one of the most over-powering things I have ever done, I was scared because obviously they are wild but they were really friendly i wanted to jump in the water and never leave. They are like dolphins, they follow boats and stuff until you get to close to the inland. But they were really nice animals and the feeling you get inside is amazing, I can't explain how i felt as I was on the boat being literaly one/two foot away from one of natures most beautiful animals. Experience it and you will know what I mean. I was really sad when we had to go back, but I still got 2-3 hours of my life that I will never forget even if I got Alzhiemers! I miss being with the whales but it was the most memorable thing I have ever done and the most amazing thing I will ever do =]
