Graffiti

Did Perry really do all that graffiti or were they just in the wrong place at the wrong time when they were caught here and that mess was already there?

It used to confuse me as a kid about why Jesse had to wipe the paint off the windows and walls and then in my teens I couldn't understand why he had to clean it up if he didn't do it. I then realize Perry probably did it because he did show him spraying down the hall after he opened the door from the room they came in to hide from the police. Jesse just took all the blame because he didn't want his friend to get in trouble. Then I thought was the mess already there and they were just there at the wrong time when he got caught but Perry managed to get away and he didn't.
