Willy is freed...
...And then goes straight out to the ocean to eat his first pod of baby Humpback whales. Oh, the irony.

shareHe's a killer whale. What would you have him do? Irony would be if he captured the humpback whales, trained them and made them perform for kicks. Buy a dictionary.
Good guys may not finish last but they sure as sh*t don't finish first!
The irony I was expressing in my post was pertaining to one of the underlying tones of the movie - exemplified as "save the whales". Because Willy is, indeed, a whale - the death of baby humpback whales in subsequent to his release would be ironic. Theoretically, the emancipation of a killer whale, which would lead to the killing of other whales, is in contradiction to the "save the whales" ideal. Clearer now? I guess it takes more of a non-linear thought process to understand my original post.
shareI think you picked up a thesaurus by accident. Have another go.
Good guys may not finish last but they sure as sh*t don't finish first!
I'm sorry; those words too big for you?
shareNo they're clearly too big for you since you're not very good at stringing them together. Be that as it may you can hardly claim animal cruelty in allowing a natural predator to remain in his habitat.
Good guys may not finish last but they sure as sh*t don't finish first!
You sir, have succeeded in making me lose interest in this thread. Nowhere did I once proclaim animal cruelty as being an underlying tone of the movie (in relation to Willy being let go, that is). You seem to enjoy acting high and mighty; would you be so kind as to point out the errors in my post, Mr. Ben Stein?
shareWell I was never really that interested myself and it would appear nobody else was either. Given the pretentious drivel you spouted I'm amazed you have the gall to accuse me of being high and mighty. Why don't you take your thesaurus and fire up 'Three fugitives' something commensurate with your movie intellect.

You sure do know how to make a person laugh! You consistently mock my writing skills - yet have not specified a single problem with its usage. On the other hand, I found several errors in your punctuation. Here, let me fix up your last post:

I have a very funny feeling.
shareWhile i find myself agreeing more so with goo than mikey in this little flame war, at least as far as the definition of irony is concerned, in regards to goos second post I have to point out that killers whales aren't whales, they are the largest of the dolphin family.
May the wind carry your shuriken into the eyes of your enemy, not sideways into your friends face.
hahahahahaahahaaahhahaa
I just read two people fighting over grammar on a thread based on Free Willy. I can die happy.
Really fun movie, was great
