How do partners/associates retire from the firm?

So in the movie and book it is shown that no one who works for the firm can ever quit, because if you do, then they will murder you and make it look like an accident, and they obviously don't hire much unless it is for certain people who won't get fired.

But what about Retirment? Let's say Mitch works at the firm for 40 years and then comes time to retire? I guess by that point he would be the Senior head parter so no one would really be able to hurt him..

But what about an associate that was near retirement when Mitch started? They would of known all the stuff, but if they are nearing 70 years old. You wonder if the firm would of still killed them.

You really seem like the most fun person to be around. I like how insecure you are that you actually have to go out of your way to be a Ass to people. Honestly fans of movies and stuff enjoy getting other peoples perspective or opinions and instead of either just giving a respectful response or just not responding at all. You choose to be a complete Dick.

I think the ones who were killed were looking to talk to the FBI. If you do your 25 to 40 years and have given them no reason to question your loyalty I'm sure you will be fine when it comes time to retire. They might keep you close to keep tabs on you ( invites to company parties and such) just to be safe. Unless they have reason to believe you will talk I'm sure you are fine.

Good point, I remember from the book one of the biggest things is them tapping phones..Probably keep the phones taps permanently. Good points.
