So Mitch got a killer out after six years and with $750,000?

Having just watched this it occurred to me, hey, Ray seems like a nice guy, Mitch said that if he hadn't boxed then he wouldn't have been convicted, but at the end of the day he did kill somebody in a fist fight, but got out after six years and with $750,000 of taxpayers' money? Not a bad deal for him really, but is that justice? IS IT? ;)

I think 6 years for involuntary manslaughter involving liquor and a guy who can't take a hit is appropriate. But i do have concerns about the taxpayers paying the guy $750,000 to keep vital files out of the hands of the Feds and the mob to be a serious waste of taxpayer money. I have to ask what are the taxpayers getting out of this deal?

No, and it made Mitch even less sympathetic than he already was. Why the fnck did he have such a huge chip on his shoulder and act like tge FBI owed him something? He got himself into this mess and the feds were just trying to catch the bad guys. He should've been glad they could save his ass by having him be an informant and go into the witness protection program. Instead he was the one making all the demands. He and his brother didn't deserve a dime.
