How did Abanks know that Avery was dead?

Seriously. This all takes place within a couple hours. Thats probably not enough time for the news to spread around the island. The only ones that would have a idea of his fate are himself (Avery), Abby, and the guys who did it. Abby probably had a feeling what was gonna happen, but wouldn't know specifics. The guys that did it obviously arent talking.

How did Abanks know that Mitch's "lawyer friend is dead, He drowned in the bathtub"

People of the island...who clean the house, stock the food, etc..knowing Abanks' recent tragedy involved this very same lawfirm...since those in the explosion were probably staying at the same place...probably rushed to tell Abanks about the connection and details.

Did he drown by accident (due to the drug in his system), or was he killed? And if so, why was he targeted?
