Why do they always portray people walking right underneath the UFO, with mouths agape, looking up? Why would you do that? Can't people observe without getting directly underneath? What if they are hostile, like War Of The Worlds? I hate that about alien movies. Just an observation.
shareI think it's just natural curiosity. Travis went under the UFO because he wanted to get a closer look. If you saw something like that I would think you would be curious, although I can see the point, you probably could look from beyond the bushes without making yourself noticed and exposing yourself to potential danger but you might not get as good of a view.
sharePlus, this is not a matter of some generic ufo movie showing a typical scene - it's a ufo movie about what Travis Walton did when he ran underneath the ufo. Travis looked up and gaped, and the film simply records that.
