LA in the early 90s where great!!

I miss the old LA, its fun watching this movie. Brings me back.

L.A., like all the big leftist-run cities, has been turned into a dangerous shithole and will probably never recover.

reply

LMFAO.🤣

These cities are Lefist-run as you stupidly call it, because the Right-wing destroyed the cities for working people and minorities. Prices are so high, and wages are so low that Californians across the board can't stand Republicans who always make things worse.

Like the one Republican we had as Governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, put the state in so much debt giving tax cuts to himself and his buddies that Jerry Brown had to work for years to pull us out of debt. Same everywhere else. Looks the story of Kansas and Sam "disaster-maker" Brownback. Or go look a Michigan and Rick Snyder who poisoned Michiganders with lead in their water.

You f-ers just seem to think if you say something long enough and keep repeating it, it makes it true. Well, it doesn't.

You are a liar.

Do you like LA like as it is now ?

reply

LA is not just one monolithic place, it is very diverse in ethnic and economic differences. There's plenty of places in LA I would live - but there's too much traffic. What I like personally makes no difference, but I don't like exaggerating whiners, except that I guess it keeps other exaggerating whiners out of the state.

reply

This makes no sense at all.

reply

Sorry, I can't express complicated ideas in one-syllable words, simpleton.

reply

Leftist-run cities across the country are hellholes. Leftists destroy everything they touch. Then they lie and deny it, blaming it on others. Unfortunately, even if the idiots in these cities could be educated to stop voting for Democrats, so much leftist damage has already been done that it's probably too late to save most of them. And you can't even mention it or discuss it with them, or their heads explode (see above).

reply

That comment ... your head exploding.

Kowalksi finds it funny that leftist politicians turn cities into hellscapes.

KOWALSKI IS FROM L.A.

Were they? I was out in Burbank for 6 months in 1989. LUcky for me I was also in the prime of my life at that point. I loved it, total blast. Only reason I didn't stay is I thought it was too expensive.

reply

California before the 2000s was a great place to live :D

reply

Yes, it was great!

reply

I mean, it was true that it was an expensive place to live, even back in the day, but that depended on where you were in CA. The cities, coastal towns, and tourist areas are usually the most expensive areas, so further into the central valley and the counties further east, and in the north were better options back in the day.

Drinking parties and cigars and the cars!

Indiana has also elected several Democrats to the U.S. Senate in recent years, with Joe Donnelly serving as a senator until 2019. Certain cities, too, tend to favor Democrats; Gary, Indiana has had a Democratic mayor for the last 77 years.

Great? Too many people remember a fantasy world. Early 1990's LA had record murders :
It has been far worse. In the late 1980s and early ’90s, Los Angeles was notorious for homicides tied to gangs and the drug trade. In 1992 the city recorded more than 1,000 murders. Across the entire county that year, 2,589 people were slain.

reply

I can't remember it being that bad!

reply

Have you had any riots recently?

reply

Everything was better in the past. No fucking race baiters anywhere. Blm nowhere to be found. Movies with good casts and no tokens everywhere you look on film & tv 24/7.
