Do today's children still like 'Dennis the Menace'??

I was looking at Sunday's comics in my newspaper and notice that Dennis is still in there. But I was wondering how many people, especially children still read it today? I'm starting to think that most children don't have anything to do with it. Am I right or wrong?

Just like recently I was in the supermarket and notice that they still print "Archie Digest" comics. However I don't know of a single youngster that even knows about Archie. These was popular among children in the 60s and 70s but I think some 35-45 years later today's youth culture has definitely moved onto other things.

I cannot tell you for today's children.
But since you refer to 35-45years ago, I still can tell you something.
I was 8-9 years old in 1995 and I liked it.
There are plenty things that are old and that I liked when I was young.
Even if they were made when my mom wasn't even born :)

I read online in Wikipedia that Dairy Queen no longer uses Dennis the Menace as a marketing image because:
"Dairy Queen felt children could no longer relate to the comic strip character."

In the words of Joey, "That really stinks."
