Did anyone else think for a second
that Lenina Huxley could be John Spartan's daughter? Just for a squicky little second? She would be older than LH, thank god. Wouldn't she?

shareIt's been brought up here before, so I know it's been on some minds. I read the novelization when the movie came out (which included the deleted material in which Spartan meets his daughter underground), so this never occurred to me.

That's all we needed. A Druish princess.
if you did think that, you must not have thought very much about whether or not it makes sense. why would i have thought a woman named lenina huxley (not married, so that should be her birth name) is the daughter of john spartan? especially since she researched john spartan's family and found out that his wife (her mother?) died in 2010. even if huxley's mom also died in the earthquake, would she not have recognized any of her other relatives in spartan's file?
also, bullock was 29 when the movie came out, and spartan was frozen for 36 years. if huxley is supposed to actually be at least 35 years old in order to have been conceived by spartan and his wife, that would also have made her 13 in 2010 when the earthquake killed her mom. unless she was adopted and brainwashed at 13, i'm pretty sure she would recognize her mom and spartan's wife as being the same woman
Not really! What the user above me says is pretty valid to me!
Prostitute: What the *beep* are you doing?
Johnny: I'm gonna kill a bunch of people.
No, she asked him for 'sex'. That'd be just weird.
