Did Simon Phoenix blow up the bus?
Because he told Spartan that the passengers were dead before Spartan arrived. Did he kill them by blowing up the bus?

shareThey never really say how he killed them. In the part you're talking about Phoenix says "remember those 40 passengers that YOU blew apart trying to catch me" so I think it's safe to say Phoenix didn't blow up the bus. Also, when Spartan is talking to the captain he tells him he knows the passengers aren't in there cuz he did a thermal scan before he went in and only saw Phoenix's men. Blowing people up would most likely raise their body temperature and make them more visible on a thermal scan.
shareThe bus was not inside the building my friend. I doubt that he shot them because the coroner would find out that the bullets didn't come from Spartan's gun. So the only explanation I can give is that he blew up the bus. Anyway what method do you think he used to kill the passengers?
shareYou should really watch the movie 100 times, seems you don't get a lot from the movie.
It's not that hard. Simon killed the passengers. It's not stated how, but this is how Spartan gets framed.......It's not important to the story how they get killed, it's the fact Simon frames Spartan. Again, this is not rocket science.
So how he killed them doesn't really matter. The thing is that he killed them. Since it doesn't show how he killed them, there is no right or wrong answer. Remember that he could have blown up the bus because many movies have some mistakes. He could have also shot them but in the autopsy they would find out that the bullets are not from Spartan's gun. That would also be a goof. Anyway it doesn't matter what method he used because the end result is the same.
