trackers in the hand pros and cons for this in real life

The pros are obvious like reduced crime, etc

But I haven't heard any real cons YET. The only 'cons' I've heard is 'the bible says not too' lol and 'the government can track me' but if you have a mobile phone not only could they track you but they could hack the phone and use the speaker and camera's to spy on you also why would anyone spy on you are you really that interesting.

So looking for some real reasons that it would be a bad idea.

Well, kidnapping would mean they'd have to disable the tracker to pull off the crime. So, severed hands would be on the rise. It'd be worse if the trackers were apart of some larger "smart" functionality like using your hand as a credit card for easy and convenient shopping transactions. If someone steals your wallet or your phone, it's a huge pain in the keister to cancel those cards and lock/erase the phone, not to mention repair the theft damage done to your name . . . but now there's no getting your hand back on.

The benefit there is that you can just attach a chainsaw to your stump and you're now one step closer to Bruce Campbell-like godhood.

Sorry I doubted you Triceracop. You're the best damn partner I've ever had.
