Just watching this now for the first time in probably 20 years.

I feel like Phoenix is basically the Joker. Especially in the opening scene.

Lets hope Jared Leto watched this movie for character reference!

Maybe then like in Injustice Gods Among Us comparing characters.

Earth Prime Batman = John Spartan

Earth Prime or alternate the Joker = Simon Phoenix

Insurgency Batman = Edgar Friendly

One Earth Superman = Raymond Cocteau
