Why did it sound like Nick's voice was dubbed in at times?
On the parts where Cary Elwes said "Adrian" it always sounded like it was dubbed in... It was really annoying!

shareBecause it WAS dubbed in by a different person. Director/screenwriter Alan Shapiro apparently wrote the film in reference to something that really happened to him and the girl sued and won because he apparently used her real name in the movie. Any mention of Darian in the movie was redubbed with Adrian as well as the stitching changed on the pillows in her bedroom and initials in the underground shrine. The VHS and laserdisc versions of the film have the original "Darian" spoken parts and references
shareWow really? That's weird! I didn't know that this was based on a real girl.
