Do you think Cheyenne had a crush on Nick too?

Cheyenne probably liked Nick and was curious about him as a new neighbor. Actually she was the first to peek at Nick (even before Adrienne) to find out what he was like. Later, she believed that Nick was falsely accused by Adrienne and tried to steal her diary for him. I don’t think she really had a crush on Nick. She was just a nice person who tried to help.

In the film, she played the typical movie role of the perceptive friend or/and neighbor who suspects the villains for what they are and wants to help (or is not content with minding her own business). Unfortunately, in thrillers such characters almost always get killed. In this film, she got off rather lightly with a broken arm and being tied to the merry-go-round.
