Why the hell is this called Troll 3? It has nothing to do with Troll's or any little creatures for that matter, it's just about killer vines. right? (i haven't seen it) I have seen a movie box for this that in fact showed some creature with sharp teeth and it was called "The Crawlers". Yet i've read in reviews that the "antagonists" in this film are just a bunch of tree vines that look like garden hoses...

Meh, it's not like Troll 2 had anything to do with the original Troll. They both had little creatures I guess but the ones in Troll 2 were goblins. I think the distributors of the sequels were just trying to cash in on the Troll name by releasing unrelated movies as sequels, which is kind of bizarre in of itself.
