This is the movie. I don't remember the old couple, but I do remember the scene with the helicopter.

shareI've got one of the old video tapes under the title The Crawlers. It's a pretty fun movie actually, not as gory or sleazy as it probably should have been for a Joe D'amato production, but it's still fun.

As another person said, shout factory released this in a 4 movie set. It is called All Night Horror Marathon Volume Two. The name of the movie is different. It is called Contamination .7. I always save horror and sci-fi movies for October. I watched this one last night. What an odd movie. I remember nothing about it. But, the best part and the only thing that I will remember is the sounds of the people when they were being killed and the looks on their faces. It was so over the top. One of the funniest things I have ever seen. Everyone in the movie sucked at acting. LOLOL Good times.
