Saddest movie ever?
This movie was sooo sad. I wish they had just changed the story and they had won a bronze or summat..

shareit was sad, but it is so inspiring that they didnt win. that you dont NEED to win to be excepted.
beauty is for those so conceited, they cannot see the ugliness within themselves
Not the saddest but the ending is still very moving. I woke up today and caught the last 5 mins on t.v, when they skidded down the sled route. It left me with a tear in my eye, as they carried it down to the finish and the cheers and respect they recieved. A great Christmas family movie. I was quite annoyed that I missed the film.
shareI always cry like a baby when i watch this film! I cant help it, its not because its sad, its just so moving and emotional. I love the ending, even though it makes me cry i wouldnt want it any other way. It would have been unrealistic for them to win, they gain the respect they deserve from completing the race, not from wining it.
shareI missed half the movie when it was shown on BBC1 at Christmas, but I have it on tape anyway so I can watch it whenever I want.
I love this movie, and it balances the comedy with the emotional and serious parts really well.

shareThe movie isn't sad to me, but moving and inspirational. I watched it 5 years ago - still remember the ending.

They may not have won a medal, but what they did win was so much more important. They won, or earned, respect. They showed that they were just as good as anyone there, and when they carried the bobsled across the finish line, everybody realized it.
I intend to live forever.
So far, so good.
They had to show how the team actually finished.
