With the conehead family not on since the 70's, how did they make a 90's comeback?

They came back in a space ship...heh heh heh...really, I guess it just shows how timeless the humor of SNL was. It appeals through the generations.

Just look at all the old crap that they're remaking now (dukes of hazzards among others) Just think of it as an early start that they had got in the 90's.

This movie was riding on the coattails of the Wayne's World success. Wayne's World had shown that SNL movies could make big bucks, so they started making as many as they thought they could get away with.
