it says she is the 'coach' is she the swim coach? or the cheerleader coach?

ive seen this movie 1000 times and I never realized that it was her either.

Also, Joey Lauren Adams and Parker Posey were her girlfriends that went to the mall with Connie. Makes sense because all three of them starred in Dazed and Confused together the same year.

I just realized she was in it today. I recognized her voice and was like that's Ellen Degeneres.. she had long blond hair instead of the short look of today.
