MSN had a list of movies made out of skits, and it rather bashed coneheads, which is odd, because out of all the SNL skits, this is definitely one of the best, it's at least in the top 5.

I haven't seen this since I was a kid but every time I watched it I remember being entertained.

This is definitely one of the best SNL movies of all time next to The Blues Brothers. Lots of cameos by SNL alumni and other comedians. Entertaining throughout.
I just saw a blog listing this as one of the worst movies of all time. WHAT A CROCK!! Actually the blog seems to be based on movies with low ratings rather than any serious intellectual argrument or criticism.
