why would they need a cart full of light bulbs? they buy bulbs like they buy food, do they eat light bulbs? this has been driving me nuts

Also, the light bulbs does look like coneheads (at least some types).

I wish I could afford to buy mass quantities like them (REAL WORLD).

Yes they eat the light bulbs. If you have seen the SNL skits you would know this. They also eat no-pest bug strips, I'm not sure if you see any in the movie though.

I always got a real hoot out of them eating things that aren't edible.
Like in the beginning of the movie, when Beldar takes a bite out of the soap (i'm sure if some people who have seen this movie had their mouth washed out with soap, they probably do try to think of this scene to ease the unpleaseant taste of the soap)and when he ate the toilet paper. Also it was funny when
Prymaat was eating the fiberglass insulation out of the wall, as if it were cotton candy(it definately was).

Oh yeah, I totally forgot about that part. It was in Prymaat's mouth and she was eating the dust bunnies. Yuck!
