Blood In, Blood Out Blu Ray

Not going to happen any time soon. I've had the dvd collecting dust for years, so I thought I would contact the company about it as if I had just bought it. I did it as a joke to see if they would actually reply. This was my email to them in October 2013:

I'm writing in hopes you can help me with a defective product. This was the only way I could find to contact your company online, as I don't have time for a phone call. I recently purchased a DVD distributed through your company. The film is called "Blood In, Blood Out." It lacks proper subtitles which leaves me unable to enjoy the movie as I don't speak Spanish, which is used often throughout the film. Many years ago I purchased the film on VHS and it was fine for subtitles, so a proper version is out there. I saw the DVD in a store last week and bought it so I could revisit the movie I used to watch regularly. When you select English subtitles they play for the entire movie which is annoying but tolerable, but when the characters speak in Spanish the subtitles are in Spanish. The store told me it was a manufacturing issue and, as such, they weren't on the hook to replace it and wouldn't take it back for a refund since I had opened it and might have copied it. Is there a proper version available on DVD or Blu-Ray? If so, is there any way I could exchange my defective copy for a new copy.

Unfortunately there is currently only one available release of Blood in Blood Out: Bound By Honor on DVD and the subtitle issue is known. No new release is planned.
