how bad is this ??

It's pretty silly. But if you go in expecting a grade A slice of trash, it can be fun to watch. I never thought Madonna was that attractive but I will admit she was hot as fuck in this. And you're seeing her whole body btw. I'm surprised it didn't get an NC-17.

I had a celebrity crush on Madonna around this time and bothered to pay to see this. To be honest I can't even remember the story line and remember skipping out of the theater and sneaking into another movie

I’m watching it now. It’s on Hulu. It is really bad, and not even good bad. Madonna sucks (as expected), Frank the lawyer is a character trope seducee of the femme fatale, and the whole movie just feels cheap. Surprised to see Julianne Moore wearing way to much lipstick. Madonna’s naked a lot as is DaFoe but there is no steam in their sex scenes (except what might come from the candle). They are just laughable. It’s a stupid movie made to (hopefully) cash in on Madonna’s fame. De Laurentiis paid a big cast a lot of money and got crap in return.
