Ash's metal hand

Did anybody else ever notice this? Bad Ash grows out of Good Ash's right side, the side with the metal hand. This is clear when they are running around as one body with two heads, Bad Ash keeps punching Good Ash's face with the metal hand. But then when they split apart fully, suddenly the metal hand is back on Good Ash, and Bad Ash has two normal hands. That always bugged me.

I think you missed my point...regardless of the mechanism behind Bad Ash's creation (which I'd love to know your source for, as none of that is explained in the film), assuming what we see in the film is what is actually, physically happening, when he first begins to form he has the metal hand, but by the time he's completely split from Ash he suddenly has a human hand, and the precise moment when and how this happens are not shown on camera, making it seem very incongruous.

And what's this about Ash being a replica himself? According to Sam Raimi, each film begins precisely where the previous one leaves off, meaning there's no way it's not the "original" Ash from the first movie we're seeing in this one...it's one straight timeline with no gaps. I haven't read the comics or anything, but I'm pretty sure they're not considered canonical, if you're referring to something from there.

Your blog is definitely one of the most epic explosions of overzealous fandom I've ever seen, but it most certainly isn't canonical. Still, good on you, mate! :)
