come on, they could make a billion of episodes since all the things have happened on the world when the show was cancelled, this show need to be maken by conspiracy theorist. !

no, but a lot of events happened during 16 years 😒

Some were addressed, ie 9-11, while the X-Files was still on its original run, and others in season 10; we are probably having a season 11, so that will have more opportunities for eps based on our modern era.

They could make a 20-season show out of what happened in the forties alone. You have been missing out on history.
