Up to season 5 in my rewatch and I still really enjoying it. Anyone seen any news on a new season?

So far nothing, even the Facebook X-Files page seems to have been quiet since last year's season. Hoping for more, for sure, and more than just six episodes this time.

I am at season 8 on my stand alone binge watch - let the series die.

There was blurb a while back that talks have started, so likely something like before is coming eventually. It would still be a couple years off at the earliest.
