Wild Palms spin-off merchandise and Books

There was a CD release of 'some' of the music that featured the Sakamoto main themes.

The comic from Details was compiled into a single graphic novel

Best of all is the Wild Palms Reader, featuring backstory and other work with contributors like

William Gibson
Lemmy (from Motorhead)
Genesis P. Orridge

and loads of other strangeness.

Yes it has it's faults but then most every work of genius is riddled with flaws and inconsistencies (and usually stars Ernie Hudson)

where do we get this new merchandise? i've always wanted to see the comics but could never track them down.

I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene: STAY OUT OF CAMBERWICK GREEN!

For Bruce Wagner's comics, check eBay; that's where I found my copy.

For the "Wild Palms Reader" look at eBay too, but also half.com, Amazon and Alibris for used copies.

I'd like to know that as well...

I recall thinking at the time that it was unusual for an adult-aimed TV show to have so much merchandise, which ABC was touting on-air... and then there was a blitzkrieg of merchandising for "Lost" a decade later. Looks like everything's on amazon (including the unmentioned screenplay) except for one of the tapes from the original 2-tape VHS release.

The original strip that ran in Details is the only thing I'm interested in, but evidently it's out-of-print now and the lowest price for it Amazon is $45 friggin' dollars! No way I'd ever spend almost fifty bucks on a damn paperback book, and a used one at that. Hope it's reprinted soon.
