Give me the DVD!

so, i've been highly agitated for years when it comes to Time Trax...its one of two of my favorite shows of all time...the other being Kung-fu...needless to say, i've been bugging sci-fi channel to put the episodes back on the air and hastling every movie company that i can think of who might have access to it to release the dvd...much to my dismay, the only response i got was from sci-fi channel saying that the episodes are not currently under their ownership and they couldn't do anything...regardless of this fact, i will never lose hope...oh, the "review" left for this series made comparasons to quantum leap that may have been comparable, but Time Trax was a far better show and could have and should have had a longer run...Anyway, i won't rest till i have the seasons on dvd!

Seconded! Or thirded, or whatever. Completely agree. This NEEDS to come out on DVD, preferably both series in the same box. With extras, preferably. I'd buy it!

Hey I totally agree with you that this was a great show and should have lasted for at least 2 or 3 more seasons to be honest with you. SCIFI Channel should air this in reruns. It was a very good show to watch!

The complete first season has just been released as an MOD DVD-R title from Warner Archives.

I'm seriously disappointed that its not closed captioned. I enjoyed watching the show back in the 90's and would love to watch it again.

FINALLY! Here's the announcement from TV Shows on DVD.

Science fiction fans, rejoice! Today Time Trax - The Complete 1st Season became available on DVD as a manufacture-on-demand (MOD) release from the Warner Archive. Priced at $39.95 SRP, this set follows the first 21 exploits - the double-length pilot telefilm and twenty regular weekly episodes - of Captain Darien Lambert (no relation!), out of 43 in all over two total seasons. Guest stars include Henry Darrow, Mia Sara, Jerry Hardin, Eric Pierpoint, Elizabeth Gracen, Eddie Albert, Edward Albert (Eddie's real-life son), Mary-Margaret Humes, John de Lancie, Amy Steel, and John Noble ("Dr. Walter Bishop" of Fringe). Available right now only to U.S. customers from the WBshop online studio store, we expect it to be available soon to global customers from Amazon's MOD program, CreateSpace.
